I’ve been turning up in all sorts of unlikely places on the Web recently, and since this blog is devoted not only to what I’m up to, but also why you should hire me, I figured I’d share.

University of Massachusetts journalism professor Brian McDermott recently revamped the j-department’s Web site, and interviewed me for the inaugural “Meet a Journalism Student” feature.

Thanks to Brian for making me sound more articulate than I am in real life.

Elsewhere on the Web, my Poynter buddies McKenna Ewen, Greg Linch and Nic Barajas put together a site featuring the 2009 Poynter College Fellows, myself included, to draw attention to the program.

The incredibly awesome, two-week program Poynter offers young journalists has gone up in cost, and my fellow fellows set up a page to contribute to the scholarship fund so we can keep the program affordable for future participants. You can donate here.
