Greetings from St. Pete!
I’m down in St. Petersburg, Fla. working with the Poynter Institute for Media Studies as a 2009 college fellow.
Forty other fellows and I are working on stories we found in team beats. I’m on a team assigned to Pinellas Point, and I found a fascinating story about a group of community members who are trying to restore a Tocobaga Indian temple mound to its pre-Columbian glory.
Check out my Soundslides sidebar that will accompany a hefty written narrative. Keep in mind it’s a rough cut; criticism is welcome, but keep it constructive.
