“The Path of the Storm” is a short documentary tracing the path of a series of deadly tornadoes that swept through Western Massachusetts in June of 2011. It was produced for a special section on MassLive.com and its sister newspaper, The Republican.
Using interviews with The Republican’s executive editor and one of their seasoned photographers, aerial and on-the-ground photographs and audio clips from the scene, “The Path of the Storm” follows the strongest of the tornadoes from its touchdown in Westfield, MA, 39 miles to the town of Sturbridge.
