I spent today at the 99 percent conference (no relation to Occupy Wall Street) making radio stories focused on creativity and failure with the fine folks from Radiolab and Longshot Radio (more on that later!).

One pleasant surprise was being asked to take part in a Tintype portraiture project by Photobooth Studios. This photo was shot on a 19th-century-style camera and developed onto a 4×5 sheet of metal. The images have a haunting, timeless feel that is just hard to describe.

Follow along with the sound coming out of the conference on our blog.
